BioI had a fairly brutal last decade or so, but I am learning to enjoy things a bit more.
I am taking a break from being a Goon, but only really to regroup and train harder. I completed sucessfully 2 tours in Iraq during my time in the Marine Corps. I Am attending Southern Illinois University Carbondale as the main portion of my vacation, I box in a club, ride motorcycles, and am on a competative shooting team.
So why am I training so hard?
I had been thinking of pursuiting a career as an adventurer or security contractor (both politically correct ways of saying mercenary). The problem with this is that I have seen far to many friends and brothers get sent home wrapped in a poncho or zipped up in a body bag. Thusly I am thinking of going back into the USMC as an officer and seeing if I can fix some of the problems or atleast provide a high level of leadership.
Time in the US military will last till once again I get fed up with the bullshit and then I will probably try again to trade in "honor Courage and Commitment" for a fist full of green.
